Weather Changes
Aside from love I think that the weather (or seasons) are responsible for the inspiration behind many tunes. This new song is just that. Recorded at home on our "new" piano (a piano my mother-in-law gave us that was her's growing up). Please let me know what you think and happy autumn.

A Morsel?
Warning. OK a warning is too strong. How about...FYI: this is not part of the regular weekly dose. This is just an older recording that I thought I'd throw on here for fun. My niece and nephew love this one as does Emily. Enjoy!

Fine Line
My thirteenth song posted this year. Hard to believe. I've really enjoyed this goal and look forward to continuing posting songs. However, I plan on taking the next several weeks off from writing new material and spend some much needed time on a different recording project. As always let me know what you think...more tunes to come later for sure.

More Than A Crush
Please enjoy this reggae/ska musical adventure. I know, before you tell me, I need to get a click track so my drums would line up better...still fun. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Trapped
So I was struggling to come with lyrics to this chord progression and was thinking about it while watching the tube. We just got basic cable and decided it may be to blame. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Perpetually
I've tried posting this like I always do several times. Had a few things to tell you about this song, but they'll have to wait...

Come On My Way
Doesn't everyone need a simple blues? OK, so I know the levels could be better, but I was focusing on getting all the parts laid down. As always, let me know what you think! Thanks!

Life Before My Car
I've had a lot of reminiscing recently reconnecting with friends from the past (Thanks in part to Facebook). Composing this brought me back home a bit.
Hope you enjoy it.
Let me know what you think...really.

FIve & Dime
I almost didn't get this completed. I haven't made the time this past week (gigs and such, time with my kiddo and wife, etc.). I surprised myself again with how easy it flowed when I got going. This is a tip back to my music roots.

Lucky
Recorded live at The James Sheeley House on February 3. Thanks to Laura, my wife, for running the recorder. Excuse the background noise from the bar if you can.
I often wonder how I've gotten so lucky. Can't say I've ever been in or around Albuquerque, but you get the idea.
Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

Simon
It amazes me when I take an idea and it get's new life with each additional piece of instrumentation. "Simon" is about following the rules that are out there, but recognizing this voice that says to break them in order to feel like an individual. Give me some feedback, if you wouldn't mind...thanks! Cheers!

My Darling Dear
Week 3! Chords came first with this one, but then the idea to write it about Sophie seemed appropriate. She'll be seven soon and the time seems to have flown by. As always, I appreciate your feedback!
Cheers!

Day by Day
Number 2
"Who does number two work for?" Not that number 2...the second post! I took a different route on this one, pulling out the ol' 4-track and dubbing in some saxophone.
